TourReady

Show the World You're Available

TourReady is about YOU — your availability for work, not gear or spaces. Advertise when and where you're free so productions and PMs can find you by area and specialty.

Overview

What is TourReady?

TourReady is separate from marketplace listings. Instead of listing gear or spaces, you're putting yourself on the map — literally. Set date ranges for when you're available, and your profile appears on the interactive SoftPatch map so productions and production managers can find you by location and specialty. All registered users get unlimited TourReady slots.

Get Discovered

Productions find you by location and specialty on the interactive SoftPatch map. No cold emails required.

Privacy Protected

Your location is fuzzed to a general area only. Exact addresses are never displayed on the map.

How Productions Find You

Your TourReady entries appear as green markers on the SoftPatch Map. Production managers and productions can filter and find you based on multiple criteria.

Distance Radius

Productions filter by proximity: 25mi, 50mi, 100mi, 250mi, 500mi, or anywhere. The closer you are, the more visible you become.

Specialty Department

Filter across 15 departments — lighting, audio, video, rigging, staging, backline, and more. Your primary specialty is highlighted.

Travel Willingness

Productions can narrow results to professionals willing to travel locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally.

What Productions See

When a PM clicks your marker, they can view your full profile, work history, rates, specialties, and current availability windows. Everything they need to decide if you are the right fit — all in one place.

Management

Managing Your Availability

Keep your TourReady entries current so productions always see accurate availability.

View All Entries

Head to My Listings and select the TourReady filter to see all your current availability entries in one place.

Remove Outdated Entries

Delete entries that are no longer valid — if you booked a gig or your plans changed. Keep your availability accurate.

No Approval Required

TourReady entries are live immediately when created and removed immediately when deleted. No waiting on moderators.

Key Difference

TourReady vs Service Listings

These serve different purposes and you should use both.

TourReady

“I am available for work during these dates.”

  • Date-based availability windows
  • Appears on the map as a green marker
  • Shows when you are free, not what you do
  • Unlimited entries for all users

Service Listing

“I offer this specific service (e.g., console programming) at these rates.”

  • Describes your skills and offerings
  • Includes rates, experience, and details
  • Always visible regardless of dates
  • Complements TourReady entries

Best practice: Have both a service listing describing your skills and TourReady entries marking when you are free. A service listing tells productions what you can do. TourReady tells them when you can do it.
