Pro Tips

Finding What You Need

Get better results with these tips from experienced SoftPatch users.

Search by Model Number

Looking for a specific piece of gear? Search by exact model number or manufacturer name to find precisely what you need.

Use Location Radius

Set a tight radius (25-50 mi) for gear pickups. Use a wider radius (250-500 mi) for services where the provider can travel to you.

Check Owner Profiles

Before sending an inquiry, visit the owner's profile. Look at their history, XP, and other listings to gauge reliability and reputation.

Be Specific in Inquiries

Include your dates, the production or tour name, quantities needed, and any special requirements. Specific messages get faster responses.
